Welcome to punewomensclub.com (the “Website”), operated by Pune Women’s Club (“PWC”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Website, creating an account, becoming a member, buying a product, or attending our events, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Refund Policy below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

PART A: TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About PWC

PWC is a community platform for women entrepreneurs, artists, and customers in Pune. We offer networking, workshops, events, podcasts, a business directory, memberships, Meetup Passes, and Verified Seller listings.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to use the Website and buy our services.
  • PWC is a community created by women, for women. We may restrict membership and participation accordingly.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Membership and Approval

  • All membership requests are reviewed by the PWC admin and moderation team. Payment or submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
  • We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove any member at our discretion to keep the community safe, genuine, and aligned with our mission.
  • Membership benefits, features, and pricing may change from time to time.

5. Meetup Pass, Events, and Workshops

  • A Meetup Pass or event ticket gives you entry to the specified event only and is personal to you unless we approve a transfer.
  • Event dates, venues, speakers, and schedules may change. We will make reasonable efforts to inform registered attendees.
  • We may refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.
  • Photographs and videos may be taken at events and used by PWC as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Verified Seller Program

  • “PWC Verified Seller” status is granted after review and does not mean that PWC manufactures, owns, guarantees, or endorses any seller’s products or services.
  • Verified Sellers are solely responsible for the quality, pricing, delivery, legality, and customer service of their own products and services.
  • PWC is a platform for visibility and networking. We are not a party to any transaction between sellers and customers and are not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from such dealings.
  • We may revoke Verified Seller status at any time if a seller receives repeated complaints, gives false information, or violates these Terms.

7. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use

By using the Website and participating in PWC communities (including our Facebook group, WhatsApp groups, and events), you agree not to:

  • Post or share false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or discriminatory content.
  • Harass, threaten, or spam other members.
  • Promote products or services in ways that break community rules set by the admin team.
  • Share other members’ personal information without their permission.
  • Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its data.
  • Copy or scrape member data for commercial use without written permission.

We may remove content or members who break these rules, without refund where the violation is serious.

8. User Content

  • You keep ownership of the content you submit (business details, images, logos, descriptions, posts).
  • By submitting content, you give PWC a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, share, and promote it on the Website, social media, directories, and promotional material connected with PWC.
  • You confirm that you own or have the right to use the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including the PWC name, logo, design, text, graphics, videos, and podcasts, belongs to PWC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise and may be changed without prior notice. The price at the time of your order applies.
  • Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
  • We may cancel an order if there is a pricing error, a payment failure, or suspected fraud.

11. Podcasts and Third-Party Content

Opinions expressed by guests in PWC podcasts and videos belong to the guests and do not necessarily reflect the views of PWC. Information shared is for general awareness and is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular business result, sales, collaboration, or growth will be achieved through membership or participation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PWC and its team, admins, and representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website, your participation in events, or your dealings with other members, sellers, or third parties. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

14. Third-Party Links

The Website may link to third-party websites, social media pages, and messaging groups. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, membership, or services at any time if you violate these Terms or act in a way that harms the community. You may stop using the Website or ask us to close your account at any time.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and the Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

PART B: REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy applies to all paid products and services on the Website, including Membership, Meetup Pass, Verified Seller listings, event tickets, and workshops.

1. Membership

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once your membership has been approved and activated.
  • If your membership request is rejected by the PWC admin team, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Membership is personal and cannot be transferred.

2. Verified Seller Listing

  • Verified Seller fees are non-refundable once the verification is completed and your listing or badge is activated.
  • If your application is rejected or we are unable to verify your business, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • If your Verified Seller status is removed because of a violation of our Terms, no refund will be provided.

3. Meetup Pass and Event Tickets

  • Cancellation by you:
    • If you cancel at least 5 days before the event, you will receive a refund of the amount paid, minus payment gateway charges.
    • If you cancel less than 5 days before the event, or do not attend, the amount is non-refundable. Where possible, you may transfer your pass to another eligible person after informing us in advance.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling by PWC:
    • If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or, if you prefer, credit towards a future PWC event.
    • If we reschedule an event and you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund within 3 days of the announcement.

4. Workshops and Other Paid Programs

Refund eligibility for workshops, expos, or special programs will follow the same rules as Meetup Pass and event tickets unless a different policy is stated on that product’s page at the time of purchase.

5. Failed or Duplicate Payments

  • If money is deducted from your account but your order is not confirmed, the amount is usually refunded automatically by the payment gateway within 5 to 7 business days. If it is not, please contact us with your transaction details.
  • If you are charged more than once for the same order, we will refund the extra payment in full.

6. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Email us at hello@punewomensclub.com or message us on WhatsApp at 90111 26662 with:

  • Your name and registered email or phone number
  • Order number or transaction ID
  • Product or event name
  • Reason for the request

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds are usually completed within 7 to 10 business days from approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Payment gateway or bank charges may be deducted where mentioned above.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after a membership or listing is activated.
  • No-shows at events.
  • Removal or suspension from the community or events due to violation of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
  • Dissatisfaction with business outcomes, sales, or collaborations, as these depend on many factors outside our control.
